Abstract
We may not, to overcome positivist historiography, annul the gains obtained fordocumental criticism. Its techniques constitute the backbone of investigativemethod in history. On the other hand, there isn’t an elaborate theory of Scripture,an analysis of its potential as field of knowledge and its relations with temporalreality. In this article, we defend that the Grammatology elaborated by JacquesDerrida provides relevant points to development of more rigorous method inhistorical knowledge. The epoch of metaphysical logocentrism needs finished.
