Representación historiográfica: relato e intencionalidad // [Historiographical representation: narrative and intentionality]

Abstract
The article discusses the theories of historiography through the concepts of sequentiality and intentionality, questioning the notion of historical narrative and the recreation or representation of history. The author analyzes excerpts from the book "General History of the Things of New Spain," also known as the "Florentine Codex," by Bernardino de Sahagún. He uses it as an example for his argument showing the relationship between the historian, narrative, and reader, and the possibility for different interpretations of the events.
