Abstract
In this essay, the author responds to scholarly criticisms of his writings which appear in this issue of "Intellectual History Review," particularly regarding his book "The Logic of the History of Ideas" written about his philosophy of intellectual history. Some of the subjects considered include the philosophy of history and the writing practices of historians, objectivity, ontology, and intentionality.
