A Imaginação Musical como um modelo possível para repensar a Teoria da História // [The Musical Imagination as a possible model to rethink the Theory of History]

Abstract
Originally presented as a conference paper, this article aims to support that a Musical Imagination could bring to the History, specially referring to the Theory of History, the possibility of new ways of considering the theory complexity of various authors, between historians, philosophers, social scientists and others. More specifically, the discussion aims to present the possibility of using a musical metaphor to discuss the complexity of the theoretical identities of historians and philosophers of History. The metaphor used – the ‘theory chord’ – intents apprehend the complexity of an author supposing that no author, or at least a few number of authors, could be closely classified in a single historiography paradigm, such as Positivism, Historicism or Historical Materialism.
