Abstract
Redding discusses the naturalistic pragmatic approach of the analytical philosophy of Richard Rorty. Influenced by Kant's idealism and Hegel's historicization of the transcendental structures of modern thought, Rorty advocated a new perspective on the function of historical narrative.
