Abstract
The article «Principles of the philosophy of crisis in the works by N. Ya. Danilevsky» deals with the important issue of the formation of the principles of the philosophy of crisis in the history of Russian philosophy. Neo-Slavophile N. Ya. Danilevsky was the first to formulate the principles of the philosophy of the crisis of civilization and culture. He referred to the crisis state of the Russian society as «Euroimitation». In substantiation of his view that in the second half of the 19th century Russia was in the state of crisis Danilevsky develops a doctrine of the culturo-historical types and proposes solving the crisis by establishing the Slavic civilization. The article shows that Danilevsky identified the characteristics of the socio-cultural crisis and described the possible scenarios for its development and solution which are still relevant today in the context of social studies and public and historical processes.
