On Historical Reason and Historical Narrative

Abstract
Since the end of the 18
th century, Kant made a decisive step for the development of
historical reason. People realized that knowledge of history is based on various assumptions, and as a reflective force of history, historical reason above all represent itself
as conscious awareness of presuppositions. History as a kind of discipline using ordinary
language, rational thinking in everyday life has become one of the legitimate sources of
historical reason. Consciousness, common sense and efficiency correspond to subject, experience and representation respectively, which constitute the basic elements of historical reason. Historians with historical reason, in his historical narrative, are fully conscious of all kinds of assumptions and are good at forming analogs between common sense obtained from real life experience and historical experience. In this way, they
effectively convey to readers their own understanding of the universality of people and
things.
