Abstract
Examines the historical conception of two representatives of the New Right, Alain de Benoist and Louis Pauwels. Stresses the indeterminate and subjective character of the New Right's philosophy which is contradicted by historical reality. The New Right's political ideas are founded on a philosophy of history which is a speculative metaphysical construction that ignores history's basic tendencies.
