Abstract
Darwinism used to be one of the most influential foreign theories in China before the introduction of Marxism. This article discusses the history of Darwinism in China,expounds its spread concerning optimism,evolution,racism and self-reliance,and reveals the positive and negative influence of Darwinism in China.
