Thomas Welskopp, Dr. phil., born 1961, is Professor for the History of Modern Societies at Bielefeld University; 2003-2004 Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, Stanford, California; 2008-2009 Fellow of the Historisches Kolleg in Munich.
