Biography and/or project

Roberto R. [odríguez] ARAMAYO (Madrid, 1958), CSIC research professor, studied

philosophy between 1975 and 1980 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he became a pupil of Aranguren, having among his classmates Carlos Gómez Muñoz, Rosa Garcia Montealegre, Juan Antonio Rivera and Concha Roldán. In 1984, obtained a Ph.D. from the same University, under the tutelage of his beloved teacher, mentor and friend Antonio Pérez Quintana, with a thesis entitled La filosofía práctica de Kant como elpidología eudemonista, work that guided his subsequent work as a historian of moral ideas. A CSIC fellow since 1982, in 1986 he was assigned to the Institute of Philosophy.
