Our research aims study the contemporany historiography of National Socialism through the theoretical tool of phenomenology supported by arguments of the history of the present time. In this sense, this study comes under the theory of history and the historiography, questioning the debates and disputes about the Nazi period, shows some of the possibilities and impossibilities of comparative methodology for such analysis. Our hypothesis is in defense of phenomenology as the most appropriate way to read dictatorships, assuming hursserlian idea of ‘back the same things’. Also study the historiographical debates relevant to the historicization of Nazism and its implications for studies on the subject trying to understand the German system through what Ernst Nolte called metapolitics.
