Biography and/or project
Dr Jouni-Matti Kuukkanen has studied history and philosophy in Finland, the USA and the UK. He received his Phd in Philosophy in 2006 from the University of Edinburgh. Since 2008 Kuukkanen has been a postdoctoral research fellow in the Institute for Philosophy at Leiden University. He is currently a recipient of the Young Researcher’s Award from the Emil Aaltonen Foundation and writing a book on the philosophy of historiography.
