Francisco Azevedo Mendes

Biography and/or project

Francisco Azevedo Mendes is assistant professor of the University of Minho (Portugal), where he teaches historical theory. He holds  a PhD at University of Minho, 2006, with a thesis entitled Crisis and passivity in contemporary historical theory. The transformation of the topic of «historical coherence», supervised by Jeffrey Andrew Barash (Université de Picardie, Jules Verne). He is member of the Lab2PT (Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory), a research unit of the University of Minho.
