Mgr. David Černín is a PhD candidate at University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He studied philosophy and he is currently working on his dissertation concerning methodology of history of philosophy. He is inquiring into the philosophy of historiography and the concept of broader range of historical sciences. He considers history of philosophy to be a specific member of historical sciences and he hopes to draw some conclusions from it. He is interested in works of R. G. Collingwood, L. J. Goldstein, Q. Skinner, A. Tucker etc. Other interests are: philosophy of science, epistemology, ancient Greek philosophy (Heraclitus), experimental archaeology, etc.
