The Future of the Theory and Philosophy of History

    -
    Ghent, Belgium

The first inaugural conference of the INTH was held in Ghent in July 2013. With 270 participants and over 180 presentations it has proven to be an inspiring conference. Next to the numerous paper presentations, keynote lectures were given by leading scholars in the field such as Frank Ankersmit, François Hartog, Ethan Kleinberg, Elias Palti, Jörn Rüsen and Gabrielle Spiegel, as well as the round table led by Chris Lorenz, with the participation of Elisabeth Deeds Ermarth, Wulf Kansteiner, Allan Megill and Ewa Domanska. Many of the papers presented at the conference are going to be published in different journals. For those who have missed the conference or those who want to re-experience it we have uploaded videos of the keynote lectures on the conference video page.

The INTH team would like to thank all the participants of the conference and we hope to see you again in one of our next activities.
