Abstract
Biographic notes on the Russian philosopher Nikolai Aleksandrovich Berdiaev (1874-1948). The author studies Berdiaev's philosophy in general and compares his prophetic vision of history with that of Immanuel Kant, Karl Jaspers, Gabriel Marcel, and Martin Heidegger. Reference is made to his study of the times, the people, society, and creative work.
